Two million drivers (seven per cent) admit that they are completely clueless about how to drive around large vehicles and 106 seven in 10 (70 per cent) motorists would welcome driving test reforms to include training on how to drive around lorries and other large vehicles. The most common way of reacting towards lorries is hesitating around the vehicle (21 per cent). Cost of running a car
But the cost of running a car is ongoing and runs into several thousand pounds a year. So online car insurance provider, elephant.co.uk has calculated the annual running costs for three motorists with different circumstances. Esure's internet logs for the Christmas and New Year period revealed that 32 70 people visited the esure.com website for an insurance quotation between 11.55pm and 12.05am on New Year's Eve/Day.
