According to figures from MORE TH>N a typical family home has £1,510 worth of garden furniture, £400 of garden tools and £360 of sports/hobby equipment in a shed or garage that can often be left outside in a garden.
MORE TH>N calculates its premiums based on a combination of factors reflecting each customer’s own individual circumstances e.g. the type of property they live in and the number of bedrooms it has. This way it is able to charge competitive prices and give the peace of mind of £75,000 worth of cover.
Notes:
MORE TH>N is the direct financial services arm of Royal & SunAlliance. It offers motor, home, pet, travel and life insurance as well as a credit card via the internet and by phone. It also offers van, shop, office, business car, hotels, property, club and contractor insurance direct to small businesses.
